The Tree of Life, 1905, Gustave Klimt |
Cheryl did this hour-long project with a group of sixth-graders last week. Their Klimt-inspired trees were amazing.
materials: construction paper (brown or black), gold metallic paint, white tempera paint, black tempera paint, thick & thin paintbrushes, bowls for the paint
The original lesson can be found on Deep Space Sparkle
here. The slideshow Cheryl put together is
here - please note that it also contains instructions for the kids on executing the project, which is super helpful and user-friendly.
